Welcome to the ChurchTrac family!

ChurchTrac 8 (the 2011 version) requires a Windows PC with Windows XP SP3 or newer, Windows Vista (SP1 or higher), or Windows 7. ChurchTrac will work best with at least 1 GB of RAM (memory) installed. We recommend a 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor, but ChurchTrac 8 will work on smaller resolution monitors too (you'll just have to do some scrolling!).

Note: ChurchTrac 8 will not work on computers where the 64-bit edition of Microsoft Office 2010 is installed (for example: Word 2010 64 bit, Excel 2010 64 bit, PowerPoint 2010 64 bit, etc.). This issue affects very few users, as the default installation option for Office 2010 is 32 bit. (This issue does not affect you if you have a 64 bit version of Windows--it applies only to 64 bit versions of Office.) If you currently have the 64 bit versions of these Office programs installed, you may need to uninstall them and install the 32-bit versions instead. Microsoft also recommends the 32 bit version of Office unless you use Excel spreadsheets larger than 2 GB in size.

ChurchTrac 8 uses the Microsoft Access 2010 database engine. If you don't already have this installed, the ChurchTrac installer will download and install it for you. NOTE: If you are planning to install on a different computer that does not have a high speed internet connection, or if you're installing on multiple computers, you can download and install the Access 2010 Runtime installer manually before installing ChurchTrac. The total download size, including the Access Runtime installer, is approximately 182 megabytes.

Due to some problems and potential errors, we've temporarily removed the ability to encrypt your data file in ChurchTrac 8. If you were using this feature, you should not install this update.

If you need to download the (older) ChurchTrac 2010 version, click here. The 2010 version is no longer being updated, and support for the 2010 version is limited. We recommend that you download ChurchTrac 8 (the 2011 version) above unless your computer does not meet the system requirements for the newer version.
