ChurchTrac's data sharing feature allows you to share your ChurchTrac data between two or more computers--even computers in multiple locations!

ChurchTrac's revolutionary data sharing technology is unlike anything else available in church software today. With ChurchTrac's data sharing feature you can...

Data sharing

Click on the Utilities menu in ChurchTrac to access
and configure the data sharing feature

  • View and update your ChurchTrac data from both your church and home computers

  • Put ChurchTrac on the pastor's laptop so he always has access to names...whether in the office or on the go (and an always-on connection is not required to access or update your data!)

  • Let your volunteers enter data (like contributions or attendance) from home or any other location

ChurchTrac's data sharing feature is ideal for churches that don't have a central office, since every staff member can view and update ChurchTrac from their own computer, regardless of where they are located. It also works great for churches that have a central office, or a central office plus offsite computers.

How does it work?
ChurchTrac's data sharing feature uses your internet connection to keep the data on all your computers synchronized. Suppose you have a volunteer who enters attendance data from home every Monday night. After she enters this week's attendance records, ChurchTrac synchronizes her new entries with the online server. Then, on Tuesday morning when you arrive at the church office and open ChurchTrac, the program quickly downloads all the new data, giving you access to the attendance records that your volunteer entered the night before!

There's no limit to the number of computers that can share data using this feature--it works the same whether you have two computers or 200. And while this feature uses your internet connection to share data, you don't have to be connected to the internet to use ChurchTrac. Also, since it uses an online server that is always on, you can update and synchronize your data at any time, even if the other computers that you share data with are turned off!

Is it secure?
When you subscribe to the data sharing service, an account is set up for your church with a password protected folder on the ChurchTrac server. Only those who you share your user name and password with will have access to your data.

How much does it cost?
You can purchase a subscription to the ChurchTrac data sharing service for only $4.99 per month! (when you purchase an annual subscription for $59.88). And you only need to purchase one subscription for your entire church (not one per computer). Here's some even better news! When you purchase a subscription at the same time as you purchase an unlock code (to enter more than 100 names), you automatically get a 20% discount on your data sharing subscription! This means you can add this amazing feature for as little as $3.99 per month for 12 months. Your subscription can be purchased from the add-ons section of the purchase page. When you purchase, we'll set up your secure account on the ChurchTrac server, then we'll email you a user name, password, and set up instructions.

Do you want to try it for free?
Get a free one month subscription to try it out! Just use the support request system on this website and let us know that you would like to try it out. We'll set up your free trial subscription, and then email you when your subscription has been set up.
