How do I delete a record or entry in ChurchTrac?
 
Each entry in a list will have a "record selector" which is a small square (pictured here with a white triangle inside) to the left of each record in the list. The triangle indicates which record is currently selected. To delete a record from a list, click on the record selector to the left of item you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard.

Note: You cannot delete an item by using the backspace key to remove the text. For example, using backspace to delete the words "Bed Babies" in the picture above will not remove that entry from the list.

To delete a name from the people screen, a special process is in place to prevent the accidental deletion of names. Therefore, instead of using the method above to delete a name, you must click on the record selector next to the name you want to delete, then choose "Delete this name" from the list at the bottom of the people screen, then click the GO button.

To delete a transaction from the accounting screen, use the delete button at the bottom of the check register to delete the transaction you have selected.
