How do I move my ChurchTrac data to another computer?

If you have a new computer or need to transfer your ChurchTrac data to another computer, use the backup feature (on the utilities menu in ChurchTrac) to backup your data. This stores all the data you've entered into a .zip file. Use a floppy disc, CD, or USB drive to transport the backup zip file to the new computer.

The full version of ChurchTrac should be installed on the new computer. You should always download the latest ChurchTrac installer or purchase a CD with the latest ChurchTrac installer, especially if you are using a version of the software that is more than a few months old. After you've installed ChurchTrac on the new computer, use the utilities menu's backup/restore feature to restore the data from your zip file.
