If you're running Windows XP and have Internet Explorer 7 installed, you might not be able to view vertical text in reports in ChurchTrac. The attendance reports are an example of the kind of report that would be effected. The dates and totals on the attendance reports are often turned 90 degrees to fit within a smaller space, and these items may not appear at all on Windows XP after IE7 is installed. There is a Microsoft knowledgebase article that acknowledges this issue, but they don't provide a solution. Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 will fix this problem, but leaves you open to potential security issues if you use Internet Explorer version 6. There are other internet browsers available that are more secure than IE6 and that offer more features. If you've encountered this problem with reports in ChurchTrac, we recommend uninstalling IE7 and using the Firefox browser instead. Update: The latest version of ChurchTrac 2009 does not use vertical text. By upgrading or updating to the latest 2009 version, this problem will be solved.
