These errors are caused by a support component not being registered properly with Windows. This can happen due to conflicts with one or more versions of Microsoft Office installed on a computer. To correct this problem, first download and install the latest program update and see if that corrects the problem. If that does not correct the problem, close all open programs, including ChurchTrac, then download this file (register.bat) to your desktop and double-click it to run the patch. After the patch runs, check to see if the error has been corrected. If not, please contact technical support.
Error 3085: Undefined function 'Nz' in expression 1. To do this, first close all open programs and go to your Windows Control Panel and choose Add/Remove Programs (Vista users can access this by clicking Start, Computer, then "Uninstall or change a program" on the toolbar). 2. Find Microsoft Access 2002 Runtime in the list and click on it. An option to Repair should appear. Click on Repair. 3. When the repair operation is complete, re-open ChurchTrac and see if you can duplicate the error. If so, proceed to the steps below.
This steps below involve uninstalling and reinstalling both ChurchTrac and Microsoft Access 2002 Runtime. If the above steps work, then this is not necessary. The following steps will guide you through this process: 1. Backup your ChurchTrac data by clicking on the utilities menu, then choose the backup option and create a backup of your data. 2. Open the Windows Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall ChurchTrac 2009. 3. Also uninstall Microsoft Access 2002 Runtime (this program will automatically be reinstalled and updated with the latest Access updates in the next step). 4. Download and install the full version of ChurchTrac 2009 from here. Do not use an older CD or older ChurchTrac download to reinstall. Microsoft Access 2002 Runtime will also be reinstalled and updated along with ChurchTrac. 5. After ChurchTrac is reinstalled, the error should be corrected. If you continue to experience this error after performing all the steps on this page, please contact technical support.
