What is the difference between a program update and an upgrade?

A program update is a free download that allows you to install the latest service pack for your version of ChurchTrac (i.e. ChurchTrac 2008). Program updates for your version of ChurchTrac can be downloaded here.

If you have an older version of ChurchTrac already installed, an upgrade will install the newest version of ChurchTrac on your computer without having to reinstall the entire program. For example, if you are using ChurchTrac 2008, you could download and install the ChurchTrac 2009 upgrade on your computer to begin using the 2009 version. If you have less than 100 names, the upgrade is free. If you have more than 100 names, the upgrade will function in demo mode until you purchase a new unlock code for the new version. Upgrade pricing is very reasonable, and most users find that that small cost of upgrading is worth the new features, enhancements, and stability that a new version offers. For upgrade pricing, visit the purchase page of the website.
