The SHAPE Ministry Profile TabThe Ministry Profile Tab is a
powerful tool for tracking your congregation's gifts, abilities and more. The
profile is based on Purpose Driven Life’s S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual gifts,
Heart/Desire for service, Abilities and talents, Personality, and Experiences).
You may use as many or as few of these five items as you want in developing the
ministry profiles of your congregation.
Tip: There are many default selections to choose from in each list. These
selections can easily be edited, and new entries created, by double-clicking on
the blue-text.
When the Ministry Profile tab is selected, the "ministry profile reports"
button will appear on the toolbar. This will enable you to print ministry
profiles on everyone in your congregation, or select certain individuals to
print profiles for. You can also print a blank ministry profile sheet based on
your entries in the Heart for Ministry and Abilities sections of the Ministry
Profile Tab. Hint: After you've set up the ministries and other SHAPE entries
that match your church, you can print a "ministry survey" to give your
congregation to complete and return. To do this, click "ministry profile
reports" on the toolbar (this button appears on the toolbar when the SHAPE tab
is selected). Choose "Print a blank ministry profile survey sheet" and click the
preview report button:
This survey includes all the entries from A and H sections of the SHAPE profile
tab. This means you can change, edit or add your own entries for the survey by
editing the entries on the SHAPE profile tab (Just double-click on the blue text
in each section to add or edit the entries). When you are previewing the
Ministry Survey, click on the Export button on the toolbar to export the entire
SHAPE profile in order to create your own custom survey.
