Using the Calendar Screen

The calendar screen allows you to keep track of upcoming events and facility scheduling.


 

Entering New Calendar Events
Enter the date, time, event description and other information about a calendar event. The start and end times, event status, and location fields are optional. After the date of an event has passed, that event will be hidden from this list. To view events that occurred in the past, click the "Show Expired Events" button.

Hint: You can view your events in "calendar view" by clicking the "Show Calendar View" button. However, you can’t edit or create events in calendar view.

To print a list of calendar events, or to print a calendar-view report, click the "print calendar events" button on the toolbar. The calendar-view printout may not be compatible with all printers.

Creating Recurring Calendar Events
You can add recurring events by clicking "Create a recurring event" button. This feature allows you to create multiple events that occur on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or annual basis.

Note: When you create a set of recurring events in ChurchTrac, each event is treated as a separate item. This means that if you edit or delete one of the recurring events, the other recurring events in that set will not be modified or deleted.
