Access Runtime is the database engine that ChurchTrac utilizes. Occasionally you may need to perform a simple repair operation on Microsoft Access runtime. This is especially true when you notice that some of the calculated values on screens and reports don't display the correct total (or display 0 instead of the correct total), or when you're encountering errors like error 3085.
Note: If you are using an older version of ChurchTrac, like ChurchTrac 2010, then you'll need to do a repair operation on Access 2002, not Access 2010.
To repair Access Runtime, follow these steps:
Note: It is also important to make sure you have the latest updates for Access Runtime installed, as some errors are caused by not having the most up-to-date version of Access installed. If you're using Vista or Windows 7, click on the Windows Start menu and open Windows Update. Click on "Change Settings" and make sure the option is checked that says: "Give me updates for Microsoft products...". Click OK, then click "Check for Updates", then install any available updates.
