The calendar screen allows you to keep track of upcoming events and facility scheduling. You can select “month view” or “list view” to preview scheduled events.

In order to schedule a new event in the "month view" screen, double click on the date you want to schedule the event and the "create event" window will open. On the "list view" screen, you can click on the blank field and begin entering your event information. Or from either screen you can select the "Create a new event" button on the toolbar
You can then enter the date, time, event description and other information about the calendar event. You will also want to check if this is a recurring event. If it is, you will also indicate how often the event occurs (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.) and for how long.

The start and end times, category, event status, location and memo fields are optional. You can create calendar categories and assign each event to a category, such as “youth” or “women.” You can also assign a color to each category and then display or print only events that occur in that specific category. To create or edit categories, click on the “calendar categories” button on the toolbar.
After the date of an event has passed, that event will be hidden from this list. To view events that occurred in the past, click the "show previous events" button.
To edit an existing event in the “month view,” double click on the event and make the changes in the “create event” window. On the “list view” screen, simply click on the field you want to change and make the appropriate corrections. You must be on the “list view” screen to delete an event. In order to delete an event, click on the record selector next to the event you want to delete and press delete on your keyboard.
Note: When you create a set of recurring events in ChurchTrac, each event is treated as a separate item. This means that if you edit or delete one of the recurring events, the other recurring events in that set will not be modified or deleted.
To print a list of calendar events, or to print a calendar-view report, click the "print calendar events" button on the toolbar. You can then choose to print events from one category, such as “youth” or “churchwide” events, or all events for the designated time period. The calendar-view printout may not be compatible with all printers.
