Error 14: ChurchTrac is utilizing the wrong version of Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access is a database engine that ChurchTrac 2010 employs to perform some of its tasks. (The newer version of ChurchTrac uses a newer database engine, and is not subject to this error message). If you see Error 14 when starting ChurchTrac 2010, then Access 2002 runtime may have been uninstalled from your computer. While it is possible to run ChurchTrac 2010 using newer versions of Access, it is not recommended. Some users have reported errors or other unwanted outcomes by running ChurchTrac 2010 through other versions of Access.

Reinstalling ChurchTrac 2010 will reinstall Access 2002 Runtime.

After Access 2002 is installed the problem should be resolved. When you double-click on the ChurchTrac 2010 icon, ChurchTrac should now launch using Access 2002.
