Tracking Important Dates:
How do I print a list of people who have recently joined the church
How do I print a list of those who were recently baptized?
How can a print a list of anniversaries?
ChurchTrac has a couple of ways to track this information depending on your
needs. With older versions of ChurchTrac, the only way of keeping track of this
type of information was by using the Notes tab on the people screen. Newer
versions of ChurchTrac have user-defined fields that are better suited for
keeping track of baptism date, membership date, etc.
If you use the Notes tab, click the
Notes report button on the toolbar to print a report. The Notes, Contacts and
Events tab report options are shown below:
Alternatively, you may choose to use the User-Defined tab of the people screen
for tracking membership events or other information. The User-Defined fields allow you to define and rename the field to
whatever you choose, as well as set default values for each field. You can also enter a date and create reports
based on the data in each field.
To change the name of a user-defined field and to specify default values for the selection box, double-click on the blue text
of one of the user-defined fields. When the user-defined tab is selected, a
"user-defined reports" button will appear on the main toolbar. This button open
the user-defined reports screen, which gives you the following options:
You can also create a custom report on the people screen using the data from the
user-defined fields.
