ChurchTrac 2010 has the ability to send text messages to one or more people with just a few clicks. ChurchTrac uses your POP3 enabled email program to send a short text to anyone’s cell phone. Take a look at the help topic on the People screen for additional instructions.
ChurchTrac 2010 introduces a new feature: primary phone numbers. A primary phone number is the preferred phone number for each individual. Since the home phone isn’t always the best number to reach someone (many people don’t even have home phones anymore!), you can now specify a primary phone for each person in ChurchTrac 2010. ChurchTrac will use this primary number on must reports and printouts.
ChurchTrac displays a red outline around each individual’s primary phone number (you can see this on the General Information tab of the People Screen). To change an individual’s primary phone number just double-click on the cell phone, work phone, alternate phone, or home phone. The red primary phone number outline will appear around the number that is double-clicked.
