A new program update for ChurchTrac 8 has been posted. This update addresses several issues and errors, and it is recommended that all ChurchTrac 8 users install it as soon as possible. The easiest way to see if you have the latest update installed is to click on “Check for Program Updates” on the toolbar when you open ChurchTrac. Program updates are released frequently in response to user feedback and error reports, so we recommend that you check for program updates at least once a week. This update fixes a problem (error 3265) when filtering for absentees from the attendance screen. It also checks for missing files when starting the program, which can prevent problems if an older version of ChurchTrac was recently uninstalled. Additionally, the calendar screen’s month-view display has been updated to show more than 100 events per month, and now avoids errors when the number of events exceed this amount. Several other minor fixes and updates are included with this release as well.
