Is there a limit on the number of songs I can add?

No. Add as many as you would like!

How much storage space do I have to upload files for songs?

Each account includes 10 GB of storage for song uploads. If you need more, reach out to our support team for assistance.

Should I create a separate event for different teams?

We recommend creating a different event for each location. For example, you can schedule your Worship Team, AV Team, & Welcome Team for your main worship service. For your children's service next door, you would want to create a different event specifically for them.

What's the difference between Groups, Teams, and Roles?

Teams are Groups. When you create a Team, a Group Tag is created on the People screen. When you create a Role, a Sub-Group is created under the Group Tag on the People screen.

Is there a limit on the number of services I can create?

No. Go ahead and plan out the entire year if you want. We double dare you!

Does Worship & Scheduling cost extra?

The Worship/Scheduling features are included with all ChurchTrac Plus Subscriptions. If you are on a Free or Standard plan, reach out to us to upgrade today!

Can people be assigned to multiple Roles?

Yes. However, when scheduling a person can only be assigned to one role for each service/event.


Is there a limit on the number of people I can assign Roles to?

Your only limitation is your name tier. Every person added into your ChurchTrac People Screen counts towards your name allotment. You can upgrade your name tier at any time.

What's the best way to share sheet music with my team?

ChurchTrac gives you and your team members the option to download all the PDF file sheet music (chord charts, lead sheets, etc) combined in to one PDF file. Your team members can easily transfer this PDF file to an application like forScore for iPad to use during your service. Printing is an option too!

Does ChurchTrac automatically report CCLI song usage to SongSelect?

No, reporting CCLI song usage to SongSelect is not an automated process within ChurchTrac. However, you can generate a song report to find the necessary CCLI numbers for reporting. The generated report will display the CCLI number, which you can use to manually report your song usage to SongSelect.
