Independence Day

Tomorrow, many of us will be celebrating the 4th of July (AKA the birth of America).

In-between family cookouts and fireworks, we remember the freedom we’ve been given and the sacrifice which was made for that freedom to become a reality.

Our offices will be closed tomorrow for the observance of Independence Day. We will be resuming normal business hours on Thursday the 5th.

As we observe the Independence of our home country, we are reminded that there is a greater freedom that eclipses American Nationalism. It is the freedom we have in the salvation of our souls. This is a freedom which Jesus paid the price we could never afford. 2 Peter 2:16 says that we are to “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”

As we spend a day celebrating our country’s freedom, let us serve God every day and celebrate our freedom in Christ.
