You're probably already using Form Cards right now and you didn't even know it. If your church is using a signup sheet or physical cards for things like prayer requests, volunteering, and spiritual decisions...you are using forms. Church Connect Form Cards are just that, except digital.
Form Cards might not be replacing ALL your paper cards or forms--but it can. Encourage your people to snap a nearby QR code with their smartphone to fill out a form digitally. You can even use Form Cards during your service to register guests, collect prayer requests, or have people respond to a sermon.
Using Church Connect Form Cards is about much more than saving trees. Encouraging your people to fill out Form Cards in Church Connect will cut down on the workload for your church leadership--and save some money on printing costs too! Imagine if half of your attendees opted to fill out a form digitally instead of paper? That's half the amount of data entry you would be doing!
1. After your Form Card has been created, click "Edit Form Fields". Once the popup appears, select the "Add a New Field" button".
2. Proceed in creating your first field. You can select from multiple field types and even add a description.
3. Continue adding your form fields. Once you've finished, you can customize the form with field requirements, visibility, order & more.
You can designate the ChurchTrac user who will receive emails containing the responses from each form submission. For example, you can have all prayer requests emailed directly to a pastor. If someone fills out a volunteer form, you could have that go directly to someone like a church admin. Any person you wish to notify needs to have a ChurchTrac User account.
To view your Form Card responses at once, navigate to the "View Form Responses" button on your Church Connect Screen. Depending on the zoom settings of your web browser and the number of Connect Cards you've made, you may have to scroll down your page to see the button near the bottom of the screen.
