In Page Setup, you can customize your website's key sections, including the navbar, header, body section(s), cards, and footer. You can select from a curated list of templates or create a custom design, complete with custom fonts and other personalization options.
Before diving into customizing your website's key sections, let's first go over a few important features to be aware of: Page Options (#1) (cogwheel icon), QR Code/URL (#2), and the Connect Page menu (#3).
Select the Page Options icon (the cogwheel) to customize how your page appears in search results and browsers.
You can add a Page Description—up to 250 characters—that summarizes the content of your page. This description isn’t visible to visitors but helps search engines better understand your page.
Pro Tip: Use clear and concise language in your title and description to improve how your page appears in search engine results.
Select the QR code icon to access a QR code and direct URL for the current Connect Page. Most smartphones will automatically open the page when the camera is pointed at the code.
This is perfect for displaying on screens during services or adding to printed materials like bulletins, flyers, or signs.
In the Connect Page Menu, you can access your site's different pages, customize the card/page name, create a custom path, title, and page description.
First, select the Connect Page menu and choose the page you want to view.
The Page Options allows you to name your card/page, create a custom path for that page, and create a page title.
Quickly generate and share your page’s QR code to make it easy for people to access your content.

This process lets you quickly build and preview your website section by section.
The Navbar is always across the top of the screen on every page of your site. When a user is signed in to Church Connect, the Navbar will display a menu with additional options.
You can customize the Navbar background color, text color, and height, as well as add up to four links to be displayed at the top of every page of your site. You can also upload a PNG file of your church's logo to be displayed in the top left corner of your site. When no logo is present, your church or ministry name will be displayed.

The Header (or Hero) is the section between your Navbar and Cards. This is a great place to add your most important message for site visitors.
You can choose from a curated list of templates, or customize your own design, with custom fonts, font size, text color, background color, and text alignment.
You can customize the header background color and height, as well as upload a header background image. If you choose an image, your header background color will be displayed while your image is loading. We recommend picking a color that is similar to your background image. Additionally, you can choose an overlay color and overlay capacity.
Use the Body Section(s) to display additional content below your Header and/or above your Footer.
You can choose from a curated list of templates, or customize your own design, with custom fonts, font size, text color, background color, and text alignment.
The Cards on your Home Page are the primary way your site visitors will interact with your content. You can add and configure cards on the Cards screen and further modify them here.
You can customize the border radius of your Cards and Buttons to control how square or rounded they appear. Additionally, you can adjust the gutter size to determine the spacing between your Cards and set a minimum width in pixels for each Card.
The Footer appears at the bottom of every page on your site. You can edit the background color and add your basic contact information, social media, and important links.
We recommend linking to the most important pages on your site in the Footer Links to ensure that they are easily accessible.
