Songs can be added in one of three ways: manually, by importing through SongSelect, or by importing from PraiseCharts. If you have a SongSelect or PraiseCharts account, we recommend using one of these import options, as they can save a ton of time!
To add a song manually, go to the "Actions" menu in the top right corner of the Song Library page and select "Add a New Song." From there, select the "Add a New Song Manually" link.

Add your song's title, key signature(s), Tempo, Tags, Lyrics, and other additional information. Once finished, select the "Add Song" button at the bottom.

To import a song through SongSelect, go to the "Actions" menu in the top right corner of the Song Library page and select "Add a New Song." From there, select the "Search SongSelect" option. You must be connected to a SongSelect account in ChurchTrac to import songs. Learn more about our Song Select Integration ›

When searching the SongSelect library, you can search for a song by name or by CCLI number. If you already have the CCLI number, we recommend this as there are sometimes songs with the same title. This will save time from having to preview the lyrics of each song. Once you have the song selected that you wish to download, select "Add This Song to Your Library".

You will then be prompted as to whether or not you would like to include lyrics and a chord sheet. Once you have checked these boxes and selected the song's key you can click "Add This Song".
To import a song through SongSelect, go to the "Actions" menu in the top right corner of the Song Library page and select "Add a New Song." From there, you'll see the "Search PraiseCharts" option.

From there, you can search songs in the PraiseCharts catalog.

Once a song has been added or imported into your song library, you can edit it at any time. Select a song to edit its details, update lyrics/chords, and more.

You can also add album art to help visually identify songs in your library and service plans. Once you've found the album art you'd like to use, open the song and select "Other."
Note: Only upload artwork you have permission to use! Album artwork and artist images may be protected by copyright and are intended for internal use/reference only.

Then drag and drop the album art into place.
