There are multiple ways to share your church's app. Below is an overview of the ways to share, as well as tips and a customizeable Press Kit to get more people to download it.
You can share your church’s unique URL or QR code with members to make installing the Church Connect app easy. When they use the link or scan the QR code, it takes them straight to the app store and installs a version already linked to your church (no setup code needed!).
In the Church Connect screen, select the "Connect Settings" tab, then select the "Share the Connect App" option in the menu on the left. You can copy the URL or download the QR code.
We have created a Press Kit in Canva for slides to display the QR code and promote your church's app.
If a member installs the app manually by searching for “Church Connect” in the app store, they’ll need to enter your church’s install code when prompted.
You’ll find this code in the same place as the QR code and URL. It's a 6-character code unique to your account. The member must type that code into the screen after downloading the app to their phone.
Your members also have access to the QR code and URL and can easily share that with anyone else.
Once a member has downloaded Church Connect, they can tap the account icon in the top-right corner of the screen. They will find a "Share Church" button below the prompt to log into their profile.
The QR code will display on the following screen. Another member can scan the QR code from that screen. They can also tap the "Share" button below the QR code and send the URL in a message.
Before you launch the app to your people, train a few leaders or volunteers on the steps to download the app, create an account, set up online giving, etc. Have those people ready to assist others on the day you launch the app.
Access the template here. Add your church's QR code and a screenshot from the app to the template.
The QR code and URL are the easiest way to direct people to your app. That directs people to the app store and will load your church's information into the app once it is downloaded.
