Step 1: Upload Your Church Logo

You can upload your church's logo in the brand kit. This will save it for easy access in all your future designs. Canva supports different file formats, such as PNG and JPEG, so your logo can retain its quality.

Step 2: Add Your Church Colors

Next, add your church's colors by inputting their hex codes into the Brand Kit. If you're unsure of your hex codes, you can use Canva's color picker tool to find the right shades. Once saved, your brand colors will be available to apply to any design with just one click!

Step 3: Select Your Fonts

Lastly, choose the specific fonts you want to use for your church’s text. If you have a font that’s part of your identity, you can upload it, or you can choose from Canva’s library of fonts. After adding them to your Brand Kit, your font choices will be available as presets across all your designs.

Customizing the Template

Once you've opened the template in Canva, you'll have the option to use your church's branding kit, or manually edit it according to your church’s needs.

Fonts

Start by adjusting the fonts. Canva offers a variety of font choices, allowing you to easily replace the template’s font with those that align with your church’s brand or personal style. You can also resize or adjust the text weight to make your message stand out.

If you know your church's hex codes, you can input them for a more precise color match.

Logo

You can also add your church’s logo to the design. This is a crucial step in creating a professional, branded look. Simply upload your logo into Canva or select it in your brand kit, to position it in the design. Make sure to resize it appropriately so it fits neatly into the layout without overwhelming other design elements.

Images (Uploads)

Replacing images is another key part of customization. Select any image in the template and choose to replace it with your own upload or choose from Canva’s library of free stock images. Personalizing the template with photos from your church events or congregation will help give it that personal touch.
