Church Connect Gallery Card
The Gallery Card displays images and other media types on a separate page for people to view in Church Connect.
Use Cases
The Gallery Card is perfect for displaying:
- A photo album for a previous event
- Displaying images of your staff for a "Meet our Staff" page
- You can even use it to post other media types such as audio, PDF's, and more.
- Photos from inside your church and around the property so newcomers know what to expect
Creating a Gallery Card
Beyond uploading gallery images, you can also customize the look of the card with the "Edit Card" button and the content itself by selecting the "Edit Page Content" button.
When creating a Gallery Card, use these compatible file types:
- Images like JPG or PNG
- Audio files like an MP3 or M4A
- Documents like a DOCX or PDF file
- Powerpoints and other various files
Templates
With the new customization features available in the site setup, you can also create a Gallery Card header. You can choose from a curated list of templates, or create your own with custom fonts, text, and background options.
Step 1: Edit Page Content
First, choose the Gallery Card you want to customize. Then, select the "Edit Page Content" button to open the card editor.
Step 2: Add a Hero or Body Section
Next, you can select either the Header (or Hero) or a Body Section(s) of the card to edit. Select "Add Content" to choose from the available templates or create your own custom design.
Pro Tips
While you can add as many pictures as you want, adding more will cause the page to take longer to load. Try to be somewhat selective in which pictures you add.
