Online Giving Update 2023
Earlier last month, we launched our new update for Online Giving in ChurchTrac. Here are the 3 big things you need to know:
1. New Online Giving UI
We've updated the User Interface to be easier and sleeker. Donors can quickly give and set up their giving preferences in seconds. Whether they're giving from a phone, a tablet, or a computer... it looks and works swimmingly ?♀️
2. Instant Verification for ACH Donations
It's no secret that ACH donations can save your church hundreds (or THOUSANDS) of dollars per year. But the process of micro depots can deter some of your faithful donors. Not anymore!
Instant Verification makes giving with ACH much easier for your people. On average, churches save over $70/year per donor by getting them to switch from Credit Card giving to ACH. There is a one-time fee of $1.50 for each ACH instant verification. This fee is charged by Stripe and will appear on your bank statement.
3. Donate With Apple and Google Pay
That's right, donors can now give with Apple or Google Pay. This is a welcome addition for your people that want to keep all of their transactions in one place on one platform.
Other Minor Giving Updates
Along with these updates, we've also done a few other things...
- Donors can select the date for their donation (or recurring donations) to be charged
- Enabled the ability to connect your Twilio number to Text Giving
- Your church's logo is now displayed on the giving page
- Donors can give to more than 3 categories at once
