New Feature: Group Messaging
- ChurchTrac now has a church group messaging feature.
- Group Messaging is built into Church Connect.
Wouldn't it be nice if your church could have group chats for all of it's ministries and small groups in your church's app?
Now you can!
Say hello to ChurchTrac's new Group Messaging feature 👋
What is Group Messaging?
Group Messaging gives you the ability to create dedicated group chats in Church Connect (your church app) for your people to communicate and stay connected.
You can create group chats for things like..
- Your men's or women's ministry
- The elders and staff
- Small groups or Sunday School classes
- The worship team & more

Group Messaging solves one of the biggest problems churches face:
Keeping people in the know.
Since it's built into your church's app, there's no need for your people to download yet another app or create a social media account for a platform they may not want to be a part of.
How Group Messaging Works?
To enable Group Messaging for your people, select "Enable Group Messages" in your Connect App Settings.

Once enabled, your app users can send and receive messages with their enabled groups. You can even set users as leaders to allow them to send polls, events, and more.
Upgrade To Enhanced Messaging Today
Group Messaging is included with ChurchTrac's Enhanced Messaging feature.
In addition to Group Messaging, Enhanced Messaging unlocks the ability to send and receive mass text messages and voice messages to your church.
If your church doesn't have Enhanced Messaging enabled, the software will prompt you to upgrade from within the application.
Group Messaging FAQ's
Group Messaging is included with ChurchTrac's Enhanced Messaging feature.
Yes! There is no limit to the number of groups you can enable. Group messages are already based on your existing groups made in ChurchTrac.
For most churches, Group Messaging in ChurchTrac does eliminate the need for third-party apps like GroupMe.
Group Messaging encourages your church's groups to communicate more regularly and be "in the know". The other added benefit of Group Messaging is that it encourages more adoption of your church app and can save your church money by cutting down on the number of mass text messages you may send.
