Domain Setup: Switch Your Church Website to Church Connect

Today, we are excited to announce a new Church Connect feature: Domain Setup!

TLDR: Churches can now use their existing domain (URL) to make Church Connect their primary website. What a win!

Why Is Domain Setup a Big Deal?

With Domain Setup, you can keep your current church web address (like www.thepotential.church) and connect it directly to Church Connect. No using a sub-domain. No need to use domain forwarding. Just sweet DNS bliss.

Domain Setup = Free Church Websites for All

In case you didn't know... Church Connect is a free church website builder that's already included with every paid ChurchTrac subscription.

Instead of paying separately for your church website hosting, ChurchTrac handles it all, giving you a free, dedicated website for your church that’s easy to build and manage.

So if you're currently hosting your church site with a service like Wix, Squarespace, Wordpress, your sisters cousin Vinny.... you can replace them with Church Connect.

And no, we're NOT trying to put anybody's cousin out of business! We're just trying to save churches money by removing another costly subscription off of their plate.

How to Use Your Church Domain with Church Connect

To get started with using your existing domain with Church Connect, select the "Actions" button from the Page Setup tab in Church Connect as shown:

The system will walk you through the process. From start to finish, most churches are able to use their domain in about 20 minutes (depending on your domain registrar). If your church doesn't have it's own custom domain yet, we recommend purchasing one through Cloudflare.
