Software Update: Fall 2022
Just in time for fall, we've launched our latest update to ChurchTrac ChMS. Here are the 3 biggest additions we've made...
1. New Look ?
We've updated the look of the software to be more modern and sleek. Whether you’re interacting with the dashboard, adding a new family to the database, planning your next worship service, or recording tithes and offerings... Everything looks more pleasing to the eye.
These changes do NOT mean that you’re going to relearn how to use the software. Most of the buttons and menus are still in the same place, so there is really no learning curve. Think of this update like a kitchen remodel. Now you’ve got a quartz countertop, a beautiful backsplash, and some luxury vinyl flooring. That's a kitchen I can't wait to cook in!
2. Dark Mode ???
To go along with the new look of the software, we’ve also added new color themes and Dark Mode. Dark mode extends to all of the areas of the software and can be toggled on or off within the settings for all themes. Did we accidentally make this look like a jack-o-lantern? Maybe ?
If you’ve never used a dark mode before, you may find it helpful in reducing eye strain. Go ahead and try it out by going to Settings > Preferences > General Preferences.
3. More Mobile ?
ChurchTrac already worked great on a mobile device. Now we've added menus and enhancements under the hood to make the entire mobile experience even better! Whether you're recording giving, tracking attendance, or viewing a worship outline... everything is fluid on all devices.

Additional Updates
- Added more color themes and options for each.
- Added the ability to search within archived names.
- Added a home screen announcement widget.
- Streamlined People screen actions to one button.
- Custom People reports have been updated and improved.
- People Processes are more user-friendly
