Memorized Transactions is now Payees

As part of our recent Spring Update, we have changed Memorized Transactions in the Accounting Screen to Payees. This is much more than a name change though...

What's new with Payees?

With the old memorized transactions, you had to create a memorized transaction in advance before using them. Now, you can create a new memorized transaction (aka payee) on the fly.

Why the new Payees is better than memorized transactions

Simply put, Payees is much faster than the old memorized transactions. As you create your transactions, you can just check the box to make that transaction a Payee for future use. It will save the name of the payee, the amount, notes, accounting tag, and category

This feature is a time saver for things that you pay frequently... like utilities, internet, lawn care, building maintenance, payroll, and more!

What about all my old memorized transactions?

With the update, we've carried over all the existing memorized transactions to Payees automatically. As you begin to type the Payee, you'll see it start to autofill.
