As a part of our BIG Messaging Update, we introduced ChurchTrac Mail. Finally! An easy way to email your church people that doesn't require complicated configurations and expensive 3rd party integrations. Here's what one church said about it...
Many ministries leaders are trying to send emails to their people using free email providers like Gmail or Yahoo. We're talking pastor emails to the congregation, discipleship group leader announcements to a small group, leaders sending messages to their volunteers, and more.
Unfortunately...
Free email providers are NOT designed to send out emails to more than a dozen or so people. The good ol' days where you could send a mass email to a list of hundreds of people are long gone. Now those emails automatically get marked as SPAM, sent to the junk folder, or just flat out don't get delivered. Many church leaders send emails not even knowing that the majority of their recipients aren't event getting them. Seriously!
You could get a paid email solution like Google Workspace or some variant of Office where you pay a certain amount per user. But that gets expensive! This is why we see so many ministries of all shapes and sizes just get by with personal email accounts. And by "just get by", we mean that most of the emails they send never actually get read...
ChurchTrac Mail is a new email sending tool built right into ChurchTrac. You can send email to a single person, a Smart List of people, a specific Tag group, and more! And since it's built into ChurchTrac, your staff and leaders always have an up-to-date list of all your church people's email addresses. No complicated setup or costly integrations. One of my favorite features is Reply To, where you can send an email and specify who the Reply-To emails go to. Check it out! 👇
It only takes 10 seconds to enable ChurchTrac Mail. You can start sending emails to your congregation as soon as today! Just navigate to your bulk email settings and enable it. I've included a link to our User Guide HERE on that if you need it.
If you don't see the option for ChurchTrac Mail, you may be on an older ChurchTrac Subscription. Just upgrade within the ChurchTrac application or reach out to our support team to upgrade.
I have some emails to send...
